Audax also awards DAA contract to ValueCare, starting with the well-known AKO read shops

Our new client's motto is "Vir audax vir beatus est", which means “the audacious live happily” - a motto with which ValueCare can easily identify. To be able to continue to operate "audaciously", Audax wishes to have all its automated processes registered and, subsequently, embedded safeguards put in place.

This operation will initially focus on improving financial results by increasing turnover and reducing costs. ValueCare will roll out the daily automated audits for Audax in phases starting with the AKO chain of read shops.

Originally a family business, Audax has expanded to become a multifaceted group that is engaged in publishing, distributing and retailing media and related products. The group's four core activities (Publishing, Wholesale, Logistics Services and Retail) are carried out by various operating companies in the Netherlands and Belgium. The head office and logistics centre are based in Gilze. The group has more than 1,200 employees, who collectively achieved a consolidated turnover of 310 million euros in 2009.
